ProductCamp Berlin is the first and only unconference for product managers, product marketing managers, entrepreneurs and others with passions for product, online and IT, in Berlin, Germany.
More than 200 active participants meet in Berlin every year. The event is held since 2010 and is planned by a team of local volunteers and run on a Saturday by everybody attending.
The team are currently preparing the 2016 event which will take place on the 29th of October.
ProductCamp Berlin 2015 was held in October at Evangelische Schule Berlin Zentrum. Around 200 participants came to share, learn and network with other product people. Following the Barcamp idea of “no attendees, only participants”, we actively engaged in a day of workshops, discussions, networking and learning. Schedule and Sessions. ProductCamp follows a participant-driven “unconference” format. Session topics and presenters are not determined until participants vote AT THE EVENT on October 17th. Below is a listing of topics that have been proposed so far for ProductCamp Berlin 2015. We invite you to “vote” for the topics you think would be interesting. The “votes” cast online are not counted when the agenda for ProductCamp Berlin is created on the morning of October 17th.
You can also submit your own session idea.
Each session will be about 40-45 minutes including (!) discussions. We strongly encourage you to leave enough time for questions and discussions. If you feel that this is too short you may do another session.
We will try to have enough rooms and session slots available. Since we will set up the schedule in the morning there is no session schedule available ahead of time. Each room is equipped with a wifi connection and a projector, but you are also invited to use the whiteboards. If you have special requirements, let us know.
As ProductCamp Berlin is an event that is self-organised, and one of the rules is, that attendees must give a demo, a session, or help with one, or otherwise volunteer / contribute in some way to support the event.
So how can I help?
We will be needing some volunteer help with some of the following things, and more:
- Registration table set up for sign-in, sponsor give-aways, any information sheets, etc.
- Cleanup – after meals and at the end of day
- Hall monitors – between sessions to answer questions and help shepherd people where they need to go
- Session monitors – make sure there is a timekeeper and note-taker in each session
- Take photos and post them to Flickr after the event
- etc. etc. etc.
